Privacy policy

KneePad does not collect personal information. There is no account, no login, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not sell or share user data, because we do not have any.

Plates, notes, and drawings you create stay on your iPad. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

KneePad may download publicly available airport and weather information (for example from FAA sources and aviationweather.gov) so it can build plates. That traffic does not include a user account or profile. Optional weather and diagram updates require a network connection; after airport data is downloaded, plates can be used offline.

Purchases are handled by Apple. KneePad does not receive your payment details.

Aviation disclaimer

KneePad is a personal planning aid. It is not FAA-approved and is not for operational navigation. It is not a substitute for official charts, current data, NOTAMs, or approved navigation sources.

Always verify frequencies, weather, airport data, and procedures from official sources before flight. Information shown in the app may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
