Privacy policy
Effective October 26, 2026
Gull Harbor is a boat-handling game for iPhone and iPad, made by Justin Rosenblatt. This policy covers the game and this website.
In short: Gull Harbor doesn't collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Your career stays on your device
- The game saves your career (money, licenses, boats and settings) in a file on your iPhone or iPad. The file never leaves the device, and nobody else can see the file, including the developer.
- If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, the backup includes the save. Apple's privacy policy, or your own computer, covers that backup.
- Reset career, on the title screen, clears the save. Deleting the game removes the save from the device.
What the game doesn't do
- No sign-in and no account.
- No ads, no analytics or crash-reporting services, and no third-party code that collects data.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- Nothing about you or your play is sent to the developer or to anyone else.
What Apple shares with developers
Apple gives every developer some App Store figures, such as the number of downloads. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple also shares crash reports and usage statistics, in a form that doesn't identify you. Apple's privacy policy covers that data.
If you email for help
Your email address and whatever you write are used only to reply to you. Nothing is shared or added to a mailing list. Ask, and your messages will be deleted.
This website
This site sets no cookies, has no analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other sites. GitHub Pages hosts the site, and GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security. GitHub's privacy statement covers those logs.
Children
Gull Harbor is rated 4+. The game collects nothing from anyone, children under 13 included.
Changes
Any change to this policy will appear on this page, with a new effective date.
